Shaping the EU of tomorrow

Brought to you by students of the Hertie School.

futurEU is a student-led initiative founded in 2019. Guided by the principles of expertise, competence and constructiveness, we strive to contribute to debates on shaping the EU of tomorrow. futurEU believes the inclusion of students’ voices and opinions in these debates constitutes an opportunity to further bridge academic knowledge, political fora and institutional praxis with public discussions.

Vision

As policy graduate students, we believe that the inclusion of students’ voices and opinions in debates on the EU of tomorrow constitutes an opportunity to further bridge academic knowledge, political fora and institutional praxis with public discussions.

Support

As a student-led initiative, futurEU is supported by the Jacques Delors Centre, the Hertie School and the CIVICA Alliance, as leading institutions in the current debate on reforming the European Union.

Mission

As active citizens, we are engaged in current and future challenges of the EU. The quest for an improved EU is not new, yet students are often not involved. Students are rigorous challengers of notions and often dare to dream, and we firmly believe student engagement in these debates can be key.
