Jannik Jansen is a Policy Fellow at the Jacques Delors Centre. Currently, he is part of the perzepEU project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research, examining existing policy instruments and developing new policy proposals to strengthen social cohesion within the EU. Prior to joining the Jacques Delors Centre, he worked in the division for European employment and social policies at the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. Jannik holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Hertie School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Social Sciences from the University of Cologne.

Dr. Thu Nguyen is a Policy Fellow for EU Institutions and Democracy at the Jacques Delors Centre. Before joining the Centre, she was an Assistant Professor of comparative constitutional law at the Department of Public Law at Maastricht University. She holds a PhD in EU and comparative constitutional law from Maastricht University and was a re:constitution Fellow 2019-2020. Thu studied European Law in Maastricht and Rennes and holds a LL.M. from the College of Europe in Bruges.

Philipp Jäger is Policy Fellow for European climate and economic policy at the Jacques Delors Centre. His research focuses on the interplay of the climate package Fit For 55 with the macroeconomic development and the institutional set-up in the EU. Previously, he worked as Economic and Policy Analyst for the EU Commission, primarily on the Recovery and Resilience Facility, which was created as the EU’s economic response to the Covid pandemic. Other work experience includes the Berlin FinTech N26 and a management consultancy. Philipp studied Philosophy and Economics in Bayreuth, Harvard and Berkeley and received a Masters degree in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Lucas Rasche is a Policy Fellow at the Jacques Delors Centre, covering Migration and Foreign and Security Policy. His research focuses on reforming the Common European Asylum System (CEAS), the external dimension of EU migration policy as well as EU foreign and development policy. Previously, he worked as a research assistant at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) in Vienna, where he co-founded the grassroots think tank Ponto. Lucas studied European Studies in Maastricht and Hong Kong and received an MA in Conflict, Security & Development from the Department of War Studies at King’s College London.

Licia Bobzien is a postdoctoral researcher with the perzepEU ('Cohesion in Europe - Perceptions and Fields of Action') project at the Hertie School. Before joining the project, she obtained a PhD from the Hertie School. Her research lies at the intersection of sociology and political science and primarily focusses on the ways in which perceived economic inequalities (i.e., income and wealth inequality) influence the formation of political preferences and attitudes.

Lukas Jerg is a PhD-researcher interested in how risk in the labor market, such as adverse labor market contracts or automation affects democratic attitudes and preferences. His PhD thesis is supervised by Anke Hassel, Paul Marx and Oliver Treib. He currently works in a project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research on the perception of economic circumstances and the effect of welfare state reform on social cohesion (PerzepEU). Previously, he was employed by the Institute of Economic and Social Research (WSI) of the Hans-Böckler-Stiftung contributing to its research on gig economy and multiple job-holding and its consequences for social protection. He holds degrees in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as Political Science and Law from the University of Münster.
